Net Price Item Feature
Step 1: How to enable the Net Price Item Function
On the navigation bar on the lab, under “Inventory” tab, click “Master Code”. In the Master Code page, click “Edit”. Under Mastercode attributes enable “Net Price Item” and click “Save”
Alternatively, you can bulk edit master code.
Under the Net Price Item column, put “YES” to apply Net Price for the item. If you want to disable it in the future, change the “YES” to “NO”.
Step 2: Smart POS App
In the Smart POS App, the net price product will have “NET” label to indicate it is a Net Price item.
Note:
- Net Price Items are taxable and can still have Item Level Tax and Order Level Tax applied.
- Any discounts, vouchers, and promotions cannot be applied to Net Price Items.
- The Unit Price cannot be changed in the cart because it is fixed for Net Price Items.
- To change the unit price, update the price in the OMS (Back Office).
Gentle Reminder:
- If a Net Price Item is used as a modifier option under another Master Code, the Net Price function will not apply to that modifier.
- The modifier will continue to display the price based on the configured modifier price.
