How to Setup Deposit Feature
Step 1: Create Deposit as Product
Pre-condition: A Deposit Product must be available in the branch before creating a Deposit Order. If the Deposit Product already exist in, you may skip to step 3.
On the navigation bar on the left side of the page, scroll down until you see “Product” tab, and under “Product” tab, click “Draft Listings”.
Step 2:
On the draft listing page, click the orange “Create New” button on the right side of the page. A small window will pop out, choose “Smart POS” and click “Create New”. Fill in the Deposit product details, click “Save & Publish”.
On the navigation bar on the left, navigate to “Product Listing” and ensure that the “Deposit” product appear in the product listing.
Step 3:
On the navigation bar on the left side of the page, go to the “Inventory” tab. Under “Inventory” click “Master Code”. In the Master Code page, click on the orange button “Add Master Code” and choose “Bind Listing”.
Filter the Smart POS, and select the deposit product and click “Add Into Unbind”.
On the list bellow, choose “Unbind” and select the product, click “Auto Bind” and choose “Selected”. When prompted “Priority Autobind”, choose standard and click “Confirm”.
Step 4:
The Deposit product will auto move to “BINDED” tab. Click the Edit button. Under “Mastercode Attributes”, enable “Is Deposit” -> to indicate this product is for deposit purpose.
Note:
- Only ONE product can be set as Deposit.
- Only ONE Item Level Tax is allowed.
- Deposit orders DO NOT have Order Level Tax (e.g. Service Charge).
Step 5:
Go to “Inventory” tab, click “Stock Adjustments”. In the Stock Adjustments page and click “Add Adjustment”.
Select which branch you want to do stock adjustment, insert the Master Code, Enter a new quantity and Click “Confirm & Sync”.
Note: Set a sufficient quantity to avoid out of stock issue when creating a deposit orders.
