Modifier setup and Master Code Linking
Step 1: How to Setup a Modifier
On the navigation bar in the left, scroll down and go to “Inventory”. Under Inventory go to “POS Modifier” page and “ADD MODIFIER”
The “Add Modifier” page will pop up. Fill in the modifier details and Save

Reference Code | Modifier Code (for bulk upload master code with modifier usage) |

Active | Activate or Deactivate the modifier |

Name (Middle part) | A Modifier Option name |
Price | A Modifier Option price |
Mastercode | A Modifier Option link with mastercode for inventory deduction |
Category | A Modifier Option Category for kitchen docket printing |
Step 2: How to link a Modifier to Master Code
On the navigation bar on the left, scroll down to “Inventory” and click “Master Code”. In the Master Code page, on the item row, click “Edit” (On some interface you might need to scroll to the right).
Edit Master Code page will pop up, expand the “POS Modifier” field and select the modifier from the dropdown list. Add the modifier and click “Save”.
After linking mastercode with modifier, Smart POS App product item will have modifier options.
